Take a
leisurely day of fishing on Lazy Lake in Fall
River, rated the third best large mouth bass
lake in Wisconsin. Visit with residents in a
local pub to hear of the best 'hot spots'. You
can pick up all your fishing supplies at the
bait shop and sporting goods store. Fall River
has grown to over 1,000 in population, but takes
pride in remaining a small, friendly community.
The Fall River Public School offers excellent
academic and athletic programs including an
indoor swimming facility and exercise/weight
room open to
the
public. The Village offers many unique
businesses; among them a floral shop, tattoo
parlor, Christian radio station and a furniture
refinishing antique shop.
There are
several manufacturing and industrial firms
offering job opportunities and great community
program support. Our parks offer ball diamonds,
basketball court, tennis court, volleyball
court, playground equipment and shelters for
public use. Brayton Park at the dam site is a
great place to sit and relax, do a little
fishing or take in a ball game. There is a
county snowmobile trail for winter fun. Fall
River supports economic development for existing
businesses and programs to provide financial
incentives for new businesses coming to the
community. Contact the clerk's office at the
Village Hall at 920-484-3525 for information on
business opportunities and community events.
